When our loved ones reach a breaking point, they don't always reach out for help. And sometimes, we lose them. This is not a failure of individuals.
It is a failure of infrastructure.

About IMHI

We are building mental health's missing infrastructures.

IMHI Group (International Mental Health Infrastructures) develops practical, low-cost solutions to address identified structural gaps in mental health support, safety and prevention.

Our mission is to make effective mental health support more accessible, immediate and reliable, for individuals, organisations and societies worldwide.

Why We Exist

Physical health benefits from established infrastructures: first aid kits, emergency procedures, safety regulations and widely recognised standards.

Mental health does not yet have the same level of practical infrastructure.

We exist to change that.

Our Approach

Our method is simple: we look at what works in physical healthcare systems, and design the equivalent support infrastructures for mental healthcare.

We focus on solutions that meet four principles:

01Practicality
Solutions should work in real-world situations, including moments of immediate distress.

02Accessibility
Cost, language, geography and unnecessary complexity should not prevent people from accessing support.

03Safety
Mental health solutions must protect users' privacy, autonomy and wellbeing, particularly when they are most vulnerable.

04Scalability
Effective infrastructure should be straightforward and affordable to implement across organisations, communities and countries.

Our Vision

A world where mental health support is equivalent to that of physical health.

We believe meaningful progress in mental health requires more than awareness. It requires building the systems that make timely support and effective prevention possible.

That is what IMHI exists to do.
